Agripreneurship Orientation

Programme Highlights:

1. Strengtdening of existing agribusiness incubators for integrated rejuvenation and development and setting up new ones – R-ABI (RKVY-RAFTAAR Agribusiness Incubators).
2. Seed Stage Funding of R-ABI Incubates .
3. Agripreneurship Orientation
4. Idea/Pre-Seed Stage Funding of Agripreneurs tde same facility will be utilized to execute all tde above mentioned components of RKVY-RAFTAAR.

Objectives:

1. To nurture potential agripreneurs by providing training cum internship witd otder startups to provide tdem practical, technical and business insights.
2. To create and nurture a pipeline of agripreneurs for incubators.
3. To make pursuing entrepreneurship related to innovative ideas an attractive career option among otder available career choices.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. tde applicant should propose one innovative idea based on technology, service, business platforms etc. for increasing efficiency in agriculture and allied sector.
2. tde applicants are expected to pursue tdeir entrepreneurial aspirations full time.
3. tde applicant should have an initial business plan/ proposal for tde idea tdey intend to pursue.

Selection Process of Interns for Agripreneurship Orientation:

1. tde CIC shall announce tde programme
2. All applicants for tdis programme will apply as per tde prescribed format.
3. tde selection of agripreneurs tdat have an innovative idea based on technology, service, business platforms etc. and interest in pursuing tdeir entrepreneurial aspirations full time, shall be done by tde CIC.
4. Under tdis component, tde CIC will select a batch of maximum 30 agripreneurs tdat have a workable innovative idea.
